Superheroes costumes DIY!

Here two simple costumes for little superheroes! In order to realize them I’ve bought one metre of black linen, three metres of red, blue and yellow tulle, 30 cm of blue lurex fabric and then yellow felter.

I’ve found more tutorials online for this project, here my favourite:

for the cape -> http://www.loveandsugarkisses.com/2011/06/diy-super-hero-capes-no-sew-way.html

Qui i bambini giocano alle Cascine, nello spazio adiacente al ristorante il Fosso Bandito (finalmente a Firenze un locale family-friendly!) insieme a svariate regina Elsa di Frozen!

Carnival time

image
To be original for a carnival party you need to sew your unique costume!
I’ve found a simple pattern for a beginner like me.

So this year my kids are two little fish, one blue and the other one yellow!

I drew only 3 parts to create this pattern: a simple shirt pattern from a tshirt of my son, the tail of the fish and the gills. You can add more particulars to create a cute dress (some fins or an iridescent lining for example). if you have time do it!

Here some photos of the last carnival party at the Murate, Florence.
